LANGHE BARBERA DIECI FILARI DOC
LANGHE BARBERA DIECI FILARI DOC
This wine is produced only in the best years from grapes grown in DOC zones and harvested at the end of October.
The cluster is pressed by a "destemmer-press" which first separates the grapes from the stalks and then presses them gently. This is followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in the "Easy Most" tank.
The wine is subsequently stored for at least 12 months in concrete/steel tanks and in oak barrels. Barbera wine matured in barriques (small, 220 l barrels made of Slovenian oak) is given its characteristic bouquet of wood. These barrels are not used more than three times.
Once in bottles, the wine matures 4 to 5 months before it is put on the market. Thanks to its structure our Barbera can be laid down for six years.
